Limited Lifetime Warranty Agreement
At Protec, we take pride in delivering high-quality powder coating solutions. To demonstrate our confidence in the durability and craftsmanship of our work, we offer a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all powder coating services. This warranty is designed to ensure your satisfaction and provide peace of mind for the lifetime of the product under normal use and conditions.
What Is Covered
This Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the following defects in materials and workmanship under normal use:

Peeling, flaking, or blistering of the powder coating.

Cracking or splitting of the coating due to application errors.

Significant fading, discoloration, or chalking caused by manufacturing or application defects.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does NOT cover:

Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect.

Corrosion or rust originating from areas not coated (e.g., untreated or improperly prepared surfaces).

Exposure to harsh chemicals or environmental conditions beyond normal wear and tear.

Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches, scuffs, or dents.
-
Modifications, repairs, or alterations made by a party other than Protec Custom Coating & Engineering.

Damage caused by improper installation, storage, or maintenance of the product.

Bubbles/pinholes in the final product due to outgassing of porous metals during the curing process.
Duration of Coverage
The Limited Lifetime Warranty is valid for the original purchaser and remains in effect for the lifetime of the product under normal use and care. This warranty is non-transferable and does not apply to subsequent owners.
Maintenance Requirements
To maintain the validity of this warranty, the product must be cleaned regularly and kept free of dirt, grime, and other corrosive substances. Failure to properly maintain the product may void the warranty.
How to File a Claim
To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

Contact us at sales@protec.ky or with details of the issue.

Provide proof of purchase (receipt or invoice).

Submit photos or videos clearly showing the defect.
Once the claim is received, we will evaluate the issue and determine the appropriate resolution.
Resolution Options
If a covered defect is confirmed, Protec Custom Coating & Engineering will, at its discretion:

Repair the defective coating at no charge.

Recoat the affected item at no charge.

Refund the cost of the original powder coating service (excluding installation or shipping costs).
Limitations of Liability
Protec Custom Coating & Engineering is not liable for:

Incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use of the product.

Costs associated with the removal, reinstallation, or transportation of the product.
The remedies outlined in this warranty are the sole and exclusive remedies available to the customer.
Governing Law
This Limited Lifetime Warranty is governed by the laws of the Cayman Islands. Any disputes arising under this warranty will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with local regulations.
